When mom contacted me to book the session, I quickly realized that although I had never met her, I knew her daughter, who even though she had not started elementary school ye,t was already the Mayor of the playground there. When I first started photographing newborns there was something I felt that was missing, I realized that in order to photograph newborns the way I wanted I had to get rid of all the fluff, focus on the baby and family. That is what I focused on and now I love photographing newborns. I love doing a mix of a simple posed newborn session with a lifestyle session.

You know when you meet someone and instantly click, that is exactly what happened with this family. It was as if we had been friends for years, when literally we had only just met. It shouldn't have been surprise that I would like Sylvia's mommy since we have a very good mutual friend, but you never know when you meet your client for the first time in person. I was happy to hear that this family likes to take in strays, so I am hoping that means they may take me in too because I had the best time chatting and connecting with them.
